Meaning Between Us
A live cohort for committed couples on
Thursdays / Tuesdays alternate · 6:00–7:30 PM Mountain (with zone conversions)
Meaning Between Us opens soon. Complete the application at the bottom of this page to have your names added to the list. Couples who apply first will be at the top of the list.
Meaning-centered work for committed couples. Each live session is about 90 minutes. Couples can expect to spend about 60 minutes to practice new skills together. While vulnerable work stays private, couples will be encouraged to share what stood out for them from the previous week.
-
This is a small educational cohort for couples who are interested in coming together to explore why they are together, during those times of peace and contentment and during those times when they are tired.
-
We will work from Viktor Frankl's philosophy of meaning and purpose: what you create together, what you encounter together, and the stance you take toward what you cannot change. The aim is a shared why, not a diagnosis.
-
The facilitator is Adelaide Wilson, author, licensed marriage and family therapist, and Logotherapist. She comes from a faith background. You do not have to share that faith.
-
This is education and facilitated discussion. It is not psychotherapy, couples counseling, or group therapy. It is not for homes where there is violence or active addiction.
-
Both partners enroll and attend. Participation is expected each week unless something serious and unavoidable prevents it.
The Four Weeks - What to Expect

Carry it forward
A simple rhythm to keep meaning and purpose alive after the course ends.
Who it is for
- Married, engaged, or otherwise committed couples
- Both partners choose to enroll. One partner cannot sign the other up.
- Couples who want a clearer joint purpose, not a courtroom for old fights
- Premarital couples who want meaning on the table before the wedding
Who it is not for
Do not enroll if any of the following is true:
- Physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, or coercive control
- Active untreated addiction
- One of you is being pressured to attend
- An acute crisis that needs licensed treatment, including unaddressed betrayal
- You want the group to change your partner for you
These situations may require you see a counselor or therapist. This Cohort group is for educational and growth purposes. It is not therapy.
